This week, the children in LZ2 who are part of Mrs Jefferson's art or gardening groups on a Thursday went off to Paul's farm. While we were there, we were planting trees as part of the TREES for SURVIVAL programme.
Gail was our TREE lady and she helped us to plant the trees in the right place.
Trees for Survival is an environmental education programme which involves young people growing and planting native trees to restore natural habitats by helping landowners revegetate erosion prone land, improve stream flow and water quality and increase biodiversity.
