Supervision
This is special and traditional Dairy Flat School day.  It is a day for families of the school to have a day out together and get to know each other. It is also a day to build the team spirit across the school through the house teams. There are team events and competitions and lots of fun for all.

We encourage all parents/caregivers to attend.  Please organise transport for your students if possible.  If you have difficulty, let the school know. We may be able to organise a ride for your child.  There will be no teachers present at school on this day as everyone attends the picnic. Please do not drop your child at school unless there is a parent picking them up to transport them to the picnic.

No student is to leave the venue (Site 2) at the end of the day unless they are with their parent/caregiver.  The School has overall responsibility on the day. There will be a roll call in the morning and at the end of the day before students leave.

New Parents:  We have a large number of new students this year and their parents may not know anyone yet.  Please, “old hands”, look out for people new to Dairy Flat and make them feel welcome.

'Open sessions'
PLEASE NOTE:
Thursday 2 April 1:45pm-2:45pm
Friday 3 April 9-10am

We would like to welcome you and your family into our space to take a tour with your child, in what we call an 'Open Space' session.
We are offering 2 session times, where you can come into our space and have a look at the learning we have done and are doing.  This is not compulsory for families, but an additional opportunity to come in and have your child show you their home class, their book work and what we do.  No bookings are required, just turn up.
